Tél : 05 90 23 57 57

The regional museum of pre-Columbian archeology named the founding father of this discipline in Guadeloupe (Edgar Clerc), in a little over ten years of existence. The mission he has set is to trace the history of significant works by the first occupants of the Lesser Antilles. Its collections of ceramics, tools, shell and stone have become references for researchers. They illustrate the everyday life of pre-Columbian of the first millennium BC until the discovery of the island of Karukera in 1493, dubbed "Guadalupe" by C. COLUMBUS.
