Property Department, listed as sites and monuments of Guadeloupe, Fort Fleur d'Epee polygonal is erected in the 18th century. It is then a set of defenses now all disappeared, to protect the Grand Cul de Sac Marin. It is the collective memory as the name of a particularly brave soldier: Fleur d'Epee. The fort is occupied by the English in 1794 from April 11 but resumed on June 6 by Victor Hugo 3000 helped freed slaves become soldiers.
