Clinging to the rocky peak overlooking the town of Mazamet, this picturesque village which can be visited on foot, have been built according to the legend by a Visigoth king in 413.
Theatre of the bloody wars of religion (crusade against the Cathars, the fight between Catholics and Protestants), it retains many vestiges (old doors, ruined castles ...) and now houses the woodworking artisans and their studios.
It offers mainly during the summer, many events.
