Vauban created the museum in 1957 is located on the ground floor of the Porte de Belfort (1700). It consists of two rooms. Visitors will discover the history and architecture of Neuf-Brisach its inception to the present. The centerpiece of this museum is a relief map that traces the construcution sound system and the history of fortification.
