Overlooking the city, the proud silhouette of the Chateau Saint-Jean is a unique military architecture of the Middle Ages and residential and glorious past of Nogent-le-Rotrou, capital of the Perche. The Municipal Museum is located there since 1959. The permanent collections relating to the history of the castle, economic and artistic history of the city, rural and industrial life of the Perche.
