Barentin has a very important cultural heritage: 160 magnificent sculptures are a real museum in the city. Gardens, squares, crossroads, near public buildings are full of statues by Rodin, Bourdelle, Gromaire, Belmondo, Coustou Drivier. One of the most famous sculptures is that of the Statue of Liberty replica of Bartholdi's work. This remarkable collection was assembled by André Marie, Barentin mayor from 1945 to 1974. To this is added an archaeological collection of Merovingian from local excavations.
