In 1860, the Countess of Héricourt, born of Aboville, bequeathed to the city's collection of paintings. The museum was fortunately spared the pillaging wars of the 20th century and has retained its four-hundred paintings. The ways of the 16th century to the French school of the 17th, the paintings exhibited are worth a look.
