The collections on three floors are mainly from the former Benedictine abbey Saint-Winoc, and other convents of the city. A fine collection of works of northern schools are grouped around important paintings: Portrait of a Woman by Peter Soutman, Saint Casimir in ecstasy by Jean de Reyn (1657). The Italian school is represented by Cerquozzi with scenes of war. The museum also has a rich collection of drawings by rotation, and a section ornithological and entomological. Some documents and souvenirs evoke the poet Lamartine, MP de Bergues in 1830, where he composed the famous ode Response to Nemesis.
