Restored by the municipality between 1985 and 1990, the Museum of Tesse is installed in the bishopric of the nineteenth century, built from 1848 on the site of the former hotel of the family of Tesse. Located in the heart of the park Tesse, it has collections of fine art (paintings, sculptures, objets d'art). All of the Sienese and Florentine Primitives (Lippo Vanni, Lorenzetti, Pesellino) form a major sector of the collections with paintings of the seventeenth century, especially French (Philippe de Champaigne, Simon Vouet, Eustache Le Sueur) and Italian Caravaggio (Preti, Gentileschi).
