Located at the entrance of the port of Le Havre, near the harbor, the Museum of Fine Arts Andre Malraux called the French writer, who, as Minister of Culture, made one of his priority projects. The museum's collections cover all periods - with nearly 2,000 works - the late Middle Ages to the twentieth century, and show some variety (sculptures, paintings, etc). The Malraux Museum presents an extensive collection of Impressionist, with names like Eugene Boudin, Claude Monet and Raoul Dufy. Works from the permanent collection are presented according to the classification of genres of the eighteenth century. The various works from the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries are exhibited in almost closed spaces.
