Moulin d'Alphonse Daudet

Avenue des Moulins - 13990 FONTVIEILLE
Tél : 04 90 54 67 49

His real name Ribet also called the Moulin Moulin Saint-Pierre. It was built in 1814 and crushed wheat for a century since it stopped working in 1915. The Great War was that we commandeered both men and wheat, which finally signed the death warrant of our last mill. In 1935 the association "Friends of Alphonse Daudet" decided to restore and create together a museum dedicated to the author of Letters from my Windmill. This monument is the symbol of the writer and his work.
