In the fifteenth century, the peak of giving birth to Luke collapses Claps. This bridges the landslide torrent Drôme and the "Great Lake" submerge the valley upstream of nearly 6 km. Dried in the eighteenth century, this vast body of water now given way to an agricultural plain and the marshes of Bouligons, the last remnant of this lake disappeared.
