Since the Middle Ages, several successive halls are home to fairs and markets (in the nineteenth century, frequently five times a year and a market once a week ...).
Destroyed in 1814, the hall was rebuilt in 1855.
It is a beautiful illustration of the arts of wood. The main poles are made of oak wood frame and lighter. It is covered with small tiles. It measures 27 m long by 15.1 m wide and 9.3 m high.
