Grande cascade de Mortain

At about 1 km of the Collegiate Church, to Sourdeval. The site is signposted.

Parking spaces are provided along the road on the right.

The waters of the Cance, a tributary of the Sélune, fall of twenty feet, crossing a bar Armorican sandstone. Dense vegetation, with rhododendrons bloom in May-early June, adds to the charm of the place. Down to the river by a very practicable steps to enjoy a general view of the waterfall.
