It currently has about 3000 graves.

The site is used at the time of occupancy by the Wehrwacht, and in 1945, the French authorities to include the graves of German soldiers from the pocket of Saint-Nazaire (total: 2700).
In 1955, the cemetery site is regional departments of Loire-Atlantique, Vendée, Maine-et-Loire and Deux-Sevres 2200 graves were added at that time.

Among the tombs, it should be noted that of Karl Hotz, the officer shot and killed October 20, 1941 in Nantes (Block 2, lane 21, plate number 655).
