On the site of an ancient manor that belonged, in the early sixteenth century, Guy de Chatillon, Count of Blois, the castle is Villesavin. Little known gems of the Renaissance brought up by Jean Le Breton between 1527 and 1537, Lord of Villandry, commissioned by François I to monitor the work of Chambord.
