In the Middle Ages, the family Chevron had built a castle on an island in the middle of the pond, connected to the mainland by a bridge. Hence the name of Pont Chevron. This is Count Louis d'Harcourt, who built the present castle in 1900.
The property comprises of very large timber and a pond of 27 hectares.
