Château de Picquigny

80310 PICQUIGNY

The castle was burned in 1470 by Charles the Bold. Rebuilt and modified in the Renaissance, it was abandoned to the French Revolution. Ownership of a learned society, "The Society of Antiquaries of Picardy," since 1922, the site is now the subject of a maintenance and restoration work funded by public money.
