The castle of Penne is a twelfth-century castle. Drawn from the Merovingian period, its unique location allowed him to play a leading role in the history of Quercy. During the Albigensian Crusade, it is the issue of bloody wars between the lord of Penne, agreed with the Cathar heresy and the supporters of Simon de Montfort IV.
