Chapelle Notre Dame de la Croix

On September 14, 1654 when the plague ravaged Gascony, the Virgin Mary appeared to a peasant girl of Marciac. The Virgin Mary promised to deliver the scourge Marciac if building a chapel. This was done in 1654 and the infection stopped. Devastated the Revolution it was razed in 1879 and rebuilt in the early nineteenth century it was a place of pilgrimage.
