Cathédrale Saint-Bénigne de Dijon

Started in 1280, the Gothic building now covered with ribbed vaults was completed in the first half of the fourteenth century when erected the facade.
Having undergone various restorations and several rearrangements in the nineteenth century, the Cathedral of St. Benignus came to us not without great damage.
The existing crypt of the cathedral is actually the lower floor of the rotunda, was destroyed in 1792.

This cathedral is the subject of a classification as a historic monument since 1862.
