Quintessence is a guest house located in the heart of Vézelay, on the main street that leads to the Sainte-Marie-Madeleine basilica. Five rooms are available on the first and second floors with prices varying from 55 to 82 €, breakfast included. All the bedrooms have their own bathroom and toilet, but for 2 bedrooms on the first floor, it is not adjoining the bedroom and you have to cross the corridor. When the weather permits, breakfast is served on the large terrace overlooking the ramparts.

If not, you can watch the birds, keep warm. Your hostess, Claude, will welcome you in an atmosphere of serenity and conviviality.

She will advise you on activities in and around Vézelay. Access to the rooms is via a separate door with an access code. An inspiring crypt is available on request.
