This charming, mountain chalet offers rustic accommodation. It lies just 9 km from Obersdorf and 3.5 km from the train station at Fischen im Allgäu.

The peaceful Wannenkopfhütte hotel offers cosy, country-style rooms, mostly with comfortable bunk beds and wonderful views of the Allgäu Alps.

Look forward to a hearty, country breakfast buffet each morning in the welcoming restaurant before an enjoyable day spent hiking in the beautiful countryside along the many hiking paths. At the end of an eventful day, let the rustic restaurant spoil you with some tasty dishes, typical of the Allgäu region. You can also enjoy your meal around a bonfire or on the terrace in summer or with a glass of mulled wine in winter.

Skiing enthusiasts will find over 40 km of cross-country ski tracks close to the Wannenkopfhütte, and can visit the nearby ski resorts of Grasgehren (6 km) and Balderschwang (13 km).

The property is a 20-minute walk from the parking lot at the Fischen im Allgäu train station. Baggage transport up the hill is free of charge, but no transfer is possible.

Please note that the hotel is a 15 to 20-minute uphill walk from the car park. Sturdy shoes are essential. The hotel is happy to transport guests' luggage from the car park.
