We offer 3 stylish guest rooms in our feature villa, each with a private bathroom, breakfast is included. There is the possibility to enjoy a vegetarian meal in the evening.
The location of our accommodation is unique as it is located on top of a rocky plateau with panoramic views up to the hills of the Morvan nature reserve, next to one of the oldest castles in the Nièvre.
The view can't be captured by photos, you have to see it yourself.
There is a beautiful garden with views and a cosy living room with wood burner and wing table.

"Lovely!"
What a nice stay we had in the Manoir of Champallement. The house has been restored with new comfort but saved the charm of the old. The hosts are very welcoming and yet discrete, and the vegetarian dinner (table d'hôtes) was delicious and pleasant. The view from the garden is stunning and the surroundings are beautiful.

"Un accueil 4 étoiles"
Dans une belle maison de maître décorée avec goût, nous avons passé un excellent séjour au calme. Les hôtes sont particulièrement prévenants. Le cadre est paisible et reposant. La région permet beaucoup de visites, de promenades, et de découvertes. La terrasse de la villa offre une vue remarquable durant les repas.

"Prachtige ervaring in een rustige omgeving"
In de drie dagen dat wij hier verbleven genoten wij van de omgeving, en van de kwaliteit van de B&B en van het fantastische uitzicht richting nationaal park de 'Morvan'. Kwaliteit van onze kamer plus badkamer en het ontbijt alsook de ruimelijke omgeving waren meer dan prima; voor herhaling vatbaar.

Schitterend gelegen met een spectaculair uitzicht vanuit de tuin en het terras.
Zeer ruime en comfortabele kamers.
Gastvrouw Jacqueline en gastheer Gerben stellen alles in staat om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.
Het ontbijt is zeer gevarieerd en desgewenst kan er ook gebruik worden gemaakt van de mogelijkheid om 's avonds aan te schuiven voor een heerlijk diner.
Wij hebben genoten en kunnen Villa Champallement zeer aanbevelen.

"A great combination of possibilities"
After a week in the lovely 'gîte' we rented the camper of Gerben en Jacqueline to cross the Morvan. When we came back, we stayed for two nights in the 'chambre d'hôtes' so we did not have to drive back in the busy weekend. For us it was a great combination. The hosts are very helpfull and they like an interesting talk by diner.

"Geweldige locatie met prima gastvrouw/gastheer."
Een geweldige plek om te onthaasten in de kamers van Logement Champallement, gelegen in de Nievre. Een prachtige uitvalsbasis voor mooie wandelingen en/of fietstochten in deze streek met leuke plaatsen als Clamecy, Corbigny en Vezelay om te bezoeken. Het ontbijt en de avondmaaltijden zijn van goede kwaliteit en variatie. De tuin biedt een geweldig plek om zowel in de zon als de schaduw te genieten van de rust of een goed boek te lezen. Ook de eigen moes-/groentetuin is een aanrader om verse groente te kunnen oogsten en eten.

"Een warm onthaal in rust en historie."
Wij hebben hier een geweldige tijd gehad. Zowel door de gastheer als gastvrouw zijn we ruim voorzien van informatie over de omgeving.

Dans le vestibule, il y a de la place pour les valises et le bouilloire électrique.
La chambre-a-coucher est situé à l'avant de la maison. De cette partie, vous avez une vue sur la tour du château médiéval local, la place du village de Champallement et sur la mare du village, où dans le passé le bétail buvait et la lessive était faite.
Toutes les chambres disposent du chauffage électrique et de volets extérieurs, qui les gardent au chaud en basse saison et au frais en été.
