You will stay in an authentic XIX century Arcachon villa, full of charm and very close to the beach.
It dates back to the 1870s, when Arcachon and the Ville d’Hiver became fashionable, and is characteristic of this period with its brick and blonde stone façade, its wooden balconies and its galleries on the Bay side.
With its two gardens, one on the city side and the other facing the Bay, it is hidden in a beautiful green setting. The location is ideal, close to lively downtown market, shops and cafés, and less than 220 yards from the beach.
We renovated the house with the double aim of bringing modernity and comfort while respecting the charm and authenticity of the building.
We love cross-cultural atmospheres, where you find designer pieces as well as antiques or ethnical objects: at les Ombrées, some of them are part of our family history.
At les Ombrées, nothing is set, everything is possible, and that is how we want your stay to be.
You can choose among 3 spacious and comfortable rooms, open to the outside.
They are all different, decorated with skill, with a blend of contemporary and antique furniture. Elegant and spacious, they offer the comfort of a luxury hotel: storage, bathroom, WC, free wi-fi. They open to the outside: balcony or garden. You definitely don’t need TV there…
