The Thorold

The Thorold Marston is a community-owned pub, B&B and restaurant set in the picturesque village of Marston within the heart of the Lincolnshire Countryside. We are easy to reach by foot, car and pedal-power - 7 miles from Grantham, 10 from Newark, close to the A1 and on the Viking Way long-distance footpath. We also have free on-site parking.
Popular with cyclists and walkers, The Thorold is ideally located for exploring the nearby market towns of Grantham and Newark, which are both within a 15-minute drive.

We are family and dog friendly and offer a wide variety of locally sourced dining options along with a selection of cask ales, wines, spirits and other beverages.
We have two comfortable, contemporary style bedrooms, each featuring a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, luxurious cotton towels and complimentary toiletries.

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided and a hair dryer and iron are available upon request.

Currently our chef has moved onto pastures new so we will be offering a more limited menu than normal. We envisage that our regular service will resume by March 2023.
