Welcome to Sykelgaete, a charming guest house in the historic heart of Coutances, on a very quiet, old street.
Newly built on the ground floor against the main house, it has its own independent entrance through the enclosed garden.
Spacious 20 m² room with a large private bathroom with a walk-in shower and two sinks. Linens and toiletries are provided, as well as a courtesy tray (tea, coffee, and herbal tea).
Breakfasts are included in the price of the night.
Terrace and garden are at your disposal, as well as tables, chairs and deckchairs.
A picnic basket can be reserved 2 days in advance.

The Jardin des Plantes and the Quesnel-Morinière Museum are at the top of the street, the cathedral and Saint-Pierre church are a 5-minute walk away.
Theater, cinema and train station are a 10-minute walk away.

Easy parking on the street and, on request, possible in our garage.
Baby equipment (travel cot, baby bath, high chair, changing table) available on request.

By the way, who is Sykelgaete? Born in 1040, this Princess of Salerno was the wife of Robert Guiscard de Hauteville, son of Tancred, who left Coutançais to conquer southern Italy.
