At the farm there are alpacas, a Cavalier King Charles dog, Shetland ponies, horses, sheep, rare-breed chickens, bantams, ducks, geese and pet pigs that wander in the gardens.
The guest rooms at Swallows Rest have a flat-screen TV, and facilities for making tea and coffee. Chocolates and home-cooked cakes are served daily.
Weymouth beach is 2 miles away, and there is a secluded beach at Fleet Saltwater Estuary, a few minutes’ walk along a footpath leading from the farmhouse.
