Sunset House B&B is found just outside the Cumbrian market town of Penrith, and less than 20 minutes’ drive from the Lake District National Park. It offers comfortable accommodation in a pretty, traditional cottage.

The Sunset serves an excellent breakfast, with produce sourced from a local farm. Guests can enjoy a cooked breakfast delivered to the comfort of their room.

Spacious rooms have en suite showers and are located on ground-floor level, looking out over the garden and fields beyond. You will find tea and coffee facilities in each room, along with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi.
Newton Reigny is a small, rural village around 7 minutes’ drive from Penrith, which was once Cumbria’s capital.

The town has a rich history, with Brougham Castle dating back to the 13th century, and Penrith Beacon high above the town, looking out over the Lakeland hills.

Directions to the Sunset House B&B:

Exit at Junction 41 on the M6 motorway. Take the first exit when travelling Northbound or the fourth exit when travelling Southbound. After 100 metres, turn left for Catterlen/Newton Reigny. Drive straight through the village and up the hill. At the T junction, turn left and continue for 3 quarters of a mile. At the junction in Newton Reigny, turn left and drive though the village. At the sharp corner, drive straight on for 50 metres and there is a sign for the property on the right hand side.

Sunset House can accept bookings for work and specific reasons set in law. For leisure is not possible until May 17th 2021.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time.
