This location is also ideal for through-travellers heading north to the Serengeti Park or the Vogelpark Walsrode (bird park), as well as for tradesmen or business travellers in the Hanover area. Hikers will appreciate the nearby R1 hiking route.

The Wedemark water park, ice rink and children’s adventure play centre can all be reached within 600 metres of the accommodation. Meitzer Lake is a 5-minute drive away. Guests can park at the ABZ Mellendorf (adult education centre) and large companies such as Sennheiser and Medi-Tech are also within 4 km.
