Obere Schweizerhütte is a historic building offering traditionally decorated rooms. All rooms have satellite TV, a radio, a seating area, mountain views and a bathroom with hairdryer.

A breakfast buffet is available for an additional charge, and in the evening the restaurant offers local Thuringian specialities. Coffee and cake are also available, as well as a relaxing beer garden.

Obere Schweizerhütte is an excellent base for local outdoor recreation activities, with a ski lift just 350 metres away and a variety of hiking trails in the summer.

Zella-Mehlis Train Station is 15 km away, and the Oberhof Bus Station is just a 20-minute walk from the guest house.

Children from 3 to 12 years old stay for 12 € per person per night when sleeping in an available extra bed.
Persons 13 years and over stay for 19 € per person per night when sleeping in an available extra bed.
Children up to 2 years old (inclusive) stay for 5 € per person per night when sleeping in an available cot.
Extra beds or baby cots are only available upon request and need to be confirmed by the property.
