We are happy to welcome you to this 18th century shipowners' house, formerly called the house with a thousand tiles, which we have completely renovated while preserving its character.
A ceramist by trade, Florence has given each of the rooms a name referring to the world of ceramics and has decorated them with her creations. We have also made a point of furnishing our home with inherited or unearthed objects and that linen is made of organic material, Ecocert and of French or European manufacture.
The guest lounge, located on the ground floor of the house, is accessible all day. You can consult the books from our library or have a hot drink at any time. The breakfast composed and/or made with organic products is served in this room.
Located in the heart of the historic city of Port-Louis, labeled small city of character, you can enjoy the life of our beautiful city on foot from our home.
The citadel dating from the 16th century, the museums of the Compagnie des Indes and that of the Navy are nearby.
The beaches and the sailing club are at the end of the street.
Lorient can be reached by batobus in just 10 minutes (boat every half hour).
Finally, restaurants and shops (cafes, bookstore, clothing, craftsmen) are 50 meters from the house.
Only 3h30 by train from Paris, it is the ideal destination to take a break for a short stay and disconnect.
We don't offer WiFi but lots of books and games.
