Catherine, a sculptor and Daniel, a photographer, welcome you to their warm and unusual house from the 15th / 17th century, on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal, facing the sumptuous castle of the Dukes of Rohan.

Stay at the gateway to the Faubourg Sainte Croix, peaceful little medieval district of the town of Josselin: gentle walks on foot, by bicycle on the towpath, canoe or electric boat over water, picnic and nap on the edges of the Oust in the pleasantly landscaped and flowered square near the house.

Cross the bridge and visit Josselin, pretty little city of character.

THE HOUSE
Arrived in Brittany in 2008, we fell in love with this town house quirky, built partly in the 17th and then taken over and enlarged in the 19th century. Its 3 levels, its recesses, its stairs and oak floors with wide blades and chimneys conquered us.

We have renovated it with natural materials (lime, hemp, plaster stained in the mass ...) to let it breathe and give it all its character.
The ground floor, former grocery store, is the Atelier-Galerie of the sculptor Catherine with a part reserved for Daniel's photos.

The living rooms are on the upper floors with each its charm and, additional touch, works of artists complete the decoration.
On the 1st floor:

You will have access to:
The spacious kitchen with central island, fireplace and stove, welcomes you with its wooden table to share meals. The cozy little corner near the windows gives you a view of the castle while enjoying tea or coffee.

The Boudoir where you can enjoy the sofas, the clarity of the large arched windows overlooking the canal and the castle while leafing through a book of art, poetry or a comic strip. The convertible sofa BZ (140x190) is at your disposal for the 2nd sleeping.

The bright bathroom you will fall in love with its freestanding bathtub and fireplace, as well as the walk-in shower.

The 2nd floor serves the toilet and the attic room. Cozy room with soft light thanks to 2 arched windows. A view of the castle and its large chestnut. The nights will be sweet in bed (140x200) with memory foam mattresses.

If you have bicycles, our garage is at your disposal to store them.

We welcome you from 5 pm Do not hesitate to contact us for any other schedule that we will set together to welcome you in the best conditions.
The bed and breakfast formula includes breakfast with homemade bread and jams and local products.

You will have access:
in the kitchen, functional and friendly space where you can meet us, meet and enjoy our good addresses
and
in the boudoir, relaxation area with fireplace.

We will be pleased to welcome you to our house of character, faceted miles and sweet stories for a pleasant stay.
