"A delightful place to stay"Marie is a lovely host, very keen to welcome you and to do all that she can to make your stay enjoyable. Her house dates from around 1900 so is understandably not modern, but she has done a lot to match the old with the new and it works very well. The bedroom and bathroom are beautifully presented and the double glazing in the bedroom is extremely effective at shutting out any noise from the street below. She showed us how to walk into the old part of this historic town, gave us a map and recommended places suitable for vegetarians. She invited us to use the garden and to help ourselves to any of the fruit that was available, fruit from which she makes a range of jams which we enjoyed with our copious breakfast. There is no way that you could leave the breakfast table feeling hungry or thirsty! We recommend this unreservedly as a stopover and will most certainly use her again if we are in the area.
