It is a peaceful rural area with rivers and lakes for boating, boating and fishing. Conveniently located off the D939 if you are traveling north or south and need to stop overnight en route.
The cottage is well appointed with a large living room and 2 large bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms. There is a kitchen where you are welcome to make yourself a drink (tea/coffee provided).
There are tables, chairs on the terrace which benefits from morning and evening sun, so ideal for breakfast in summer; deckchairs in the garden. The garden offers lovely open views over the countryside and the pretty cottage style garden.

"Une nuit cocooning"
Ce gîte est vraiment très agréable, dans un endroit très calme, à la campagne. Très propre, soigné et accueillant. Penelope est une hôte très attentionnée et fait tout pour le confort de ses clients. Quant au petit déjeuner, il est très copieux et de toute fraîcheur. Tout est parfait. Si nous devons revenir dans la région, nous reviendrons chez Penelope avec grand plaisir.

"Très bon accueil"
Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Pénélope, qui fait attention aux moindres détails pour satisfaire ses clients. Les équipements sont vraiment au top : une grande pièce d'environ 30 m2 (salon, TV, salle à manger et cuisine) à notre disposition, en plus de la chambre. Et s'il manque quelque chose, il suffit de demander et c'est fourni !

"Bon accueil de Pénélope"
Nous sommes arrivés assez tard par temps de pluie, Pénélope nous attendait. Nous avons pu prendre notre repas dans la cuisine avec tout le nécessaire à notre disposition. Le petit déjeûner était parfait et très complet. Le gîte est à l'écart des villes les plus proches mais ceci est compensé par le calme très agréable de la campagne. Nous n'avons pu profiter des extérieurs à cause du mauvais temps et nous étions juste de passage pour une nuit, mais à la belle saison, ce doit être très agréable.
Pénélope est très aimable et discrète.

"A beautiful and well appointed gite"
I had a wonderful 5 night stay at Le Tilleuil. I was worried I might be cold (it was late November) but I had no need to worry. The gite was beautifully warm, and there was also plenty of hot water. The gite is extremely well appointed and comfortable with thoughtful touches throughout. I was out at work during the day, and I arrived home in the dark one evening, to find the outside light was on, and a lamp inside too so it was warm and welcoming. The gite is very private with its own parking area and garden, but it’s lovely to know the owners are only next door. I highly recommend staying here and hope I have the opportunity to return in the summer so I can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view, pool and barbecue area.
