"The garden of the Old Castle" is located in the heart of the village with all shops in Pays Fort, 1h30 from Paris and 25 km from the A77 motorway, just 30 km from Sancerre.

It is a 19th century character house with a large French garden.

The guest room has a large closed and secure car park, as well as a large garden where you can relax. The garden has a nice surprise in store for you at the bottom of the garden: the remains of the 12th century Château de Vailly sur Sauldre destroyed by order of Richelieu.

The region is rich in nature, forests, fields, canals, not to mention the proximity of the banks of the Loire, ideal for unwinding!
Once you are in Vailly, it is absolutely essential to visit the emblem of the Pays Fort: La Grange pyramidale, a 15th century agricultural construction, unique in France!
There is also the Retro Mechanical Museum, an exhibition of old French automobiles.
