"AN ELEGANT STAY WITH A CHARMING COUPLE"
Françoise and Gilbert were as charming as the 18th century home that they have filled with fascinating ornaments. The garden looked so beautiful with Azaleas and roses and greenfinches to welcome us. Following aperos with Francoise and Gilbert, our meal was served by them with elegance, presented on exquisite tableware. All the food was homemade and absolutely delicious. Nothing was left out with three courses with wine then cheese and coffee. We had a good night in a comfortable bed. We enjoyed our own sitting room and bathroom. Breakfast had everything we could wish for. We felt spoilt and our stopover on our journey to the Charente was all part of the holiday. We would highly recommend staying here and would like to thank Françoise et Gilbert for their generous hospitality.

"Séjour 5*"
Françoise et Gilbert nous ont réservé un super accueil : ils sont adorables et de très bonne compagnie.
Ils ont été aux petits soins pendant tout le séjour.
Les chambres sont parfaites et très confortables et le petit déjeuner très copieux.
Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse !

"Amazing house"
My partner and I stayed here had an outstanding dinner with wine and aperitifs. The bed was very comfortable. The house is full of amazing treasures.

"Difícil de superar"
Everything was exceptional, the owners were super friendly and very charming and polite people. The house is decorated as it was 70 years ago or more, which gives it a lot of charm. Also, I love porcelain, so I had hundreds of French pieces.
We had dinner and were very well entertained, like true bourgeois from another century.
This place is very authentic and I would say it is a “hors serie” place and owners.
Thank you very much for the swim in the pool.

"Un court séjour exceptionnel"
Mr. and Mrs. Bûcher are charming hosts and very attentive to their guests. We were welcomed into a beautifully decorated home. The garden and pool are truly delightful. The meal and breakfast were perfect. We will return with great pleasure.

"FORMIDABLE"
An extraordinary evening stopover... Mrs. and Mr. Bucher are welcoming, helpful, and extremely kind hosts. We were completely captivated by their superb home, furnished with refinement and attention to detail, and the magnificent garden. The "suite" we occupied was breathtaking!
The dinner was also perfect.
For one evening, we were transported to another era, full of refinement... a pleasant interlude!
An address that we treasure and warmly recommend.

What can I say except that this stop was magnificent!
On the way to our vacation, we stopped as a family (with our 3 teenagers) for a break and a visit to the Goupilleres Valley.
The owners of this place take great care of our well-being, welcoming and caring.
We enjoyed some good times at the pool and a very good dinner in the shade of the cedar tree in the garden.
After a good night and a hearty breakfast we hit the road again with plenty of energy.

Wonderful and welcoming chambre d’hôte. Msr and Mme Bucher very friendly. Evening meal everything you could ask for- and the same for breakfast. They are ardent fans of brocante, so a real leap back in time with their collection.
