Four cozy bedrooms with private bathrooms and separate toilets can accommodate up t 3 people in each (4 in the 'family' room).
A large lounge with a big table and a comfy reading area with many books and board games is available for guests.
At short distance, the Col de la Forclaz unveils its amazing view on the pure waters of Lake Annecy. This mountain pass is a major spot for paragliders and hang gliders and is also famous among cyclists and walkers.
Summer or winter, whether you like gliding on the air, snow or water, cycling, mountain walking or simply enjoying a peacefull and relaxing surrounding, la Chavane will seduce you.

Drive along the eastern shore of the lake and spend Annecy-le-Vieux, Veyrier du Lac and Menthon St Bernard.
Shortly after the release of Echarvines, before entering Talloires, take the D42 road to the Col de la Forclaz / Montmin.
Skip Vérel then cross the Col de la Forclaz and cross Montmin Chef-Lieu.
500 m after Montmin Chef-LieuIn the corner of the hamlet of Ferriere, take the small road opposite direction Montmin Plan.
* Coming from Ugine / Albertville *
Follow signs for Annecy, go around Faverges Marlens and staying on the D1508 road temporarily becomes a 4-way.
In the second roundabout after the end of the 4-way, take the D42 road (1st exit) towards Montmin / Col de la Forclaz.
Cross Vesonne and begin the climb to Montmin.
In the hamlet of La Ferriere take the small road right into the hairpin turn towards Plan Montmin.
* Once the communal route to Plan Montmin *
Follow the road for 1.5 km to reach the top village of Plan Montmin.
Continue through the village and reach the bottom of Plan Montmin 50 m away.
The Chavane is the first house on the left side in front of a meadow at the edge of which stands a small chalet.
Drive along the eastern shore of the lake and spend Annecy-le-Vieux, Veyrier du Lac and Menthon St Bernard.
