Bed & Breakfast La Casita Alegria

Casa Alegria is an 18th C. stone house in Plassac in the Gironde, decorated according to the principles of Feng Shui. We are a French/American couple who wish to share the well-being of living in the countryside. We have chosen to make available to our guests the Casita Alegria, an old converted wine storehouse with a large 30m² studio/loft. We can accommodate two to four people. In this cosy nest, you'll find a queen size bed, a sitting area with a 140 cm sofa bed, as well as a table and chairs for a glass of wine or a cup of tea. A big bathroom completes the picture. You'll find every comfort for a weekend or a week-long stay. A large swimming pool is available with chaise longues, and of course breakfast is included. We also offer a table d'hôtes, with French cooking as well as vegetarian meals in the poolhouse, by the pool, or in the main house. Not practical for children under 10 years old. Private parking is available, and there is an independent access for walks along the estuary or through our charming village. We can lend you rackets for a game of tennis or ping-pong, and petanque balls for a friendly aperitif by the water. Whether you're looking for a picnic, a cooking class here at the house or an unusual meal organized in a natural setting in the area for a group or a wine and cheese tasting experience, we can organize it for you with a week or two's advanced notice. We do have an additional nice big bedroom inside our home if you are 4 - 6 guests.
