How to get to Les Achards
We are located halfway between Gap and Grenoble
By the road
• From the north
From Grenoble (50 km)
The shortest route takes the Napoléon route (RN 85) via Vizille and La Mure.
After La Mure, leave the RN 85 to head towards Mens, via the Ponsonnas bridge.
At the end of the bridge turn left towards Châtel-en-Trièves (winding road); cross the villages of Saint-Sébastien then Cordéac. The hamlet of Achards is located approximately 2 km after the village of Cordéac following the D 66 road.
Alternatively (longer journey) it is possible to take the A 51 from Grenoble to Monestier-de-Clermont (toll). At the end of the A 51, at the roundabout, follow the direction of Mens (road D 34). In Mens follow the direction of Cordéac (road D 66) via the Col de Saint-Sébastien.
• From the south
From Gap (50 km)
Follow the RN85 via Col Bayard to Corps. At the exit from Corps turn left, towards Pellafol and Superdévoluy (road D 537). After crossing the Drac at the Sautet dam, turn right onto the D66 road towards Cordéac. Cross Les Payas and La Croix de la Pigne. The hamlet of Achards is located approximately 12 km from Corps. The Casa des Achards is on the left 300 meters after the Moulin des Achards.
Alternatively, it is possible to take the D 1075 road via the Col de la Croix-Haute. Leave the D1075 at Saint-Maurice-en-Trièves towards Prébois and Mens (road D 253). In Mens follow the direction of Cordéac (road D 66) via the Col de Saint-Sébastien.
By bus
Line 4500: Grenoble - Monestier-de-Clermont - Mens
Line 4600: La Mure - Mens
