Nestled in the small village of Montaillou, we welcome you with great pleasure to our guesthouse, whatever the season. Our cosy retreat allows you to recharge your batteries during a quality stay in a friendly family atmosphere. Situated at 1300 metres, you will be in the middle of a preserved nature which has kept all its authenticity.
The former presbytery offers you breath-taking views of the mountains and the Plateau de Sault, which will not fail to seduce you with its natural diversity. Thanks to the village's unique past, you will not only be in the heart of Cathar history but also on the “Chemin des Bonhommes”: the ancient cross-border Pyrenean route that follows the footsteps of the last Cathars as they fled from the inquisition.
We currently offer 2 charming rooms. Inside, you will find plenty of comfort and character, as well as a courtesy tray and a magnificent view of the surroundings. Each room has its own private shower room with a shower, 2 basins and a separate toilet. Hairdryers or washing machines are available on request.
The old presbytery with its authentic style features a living and dining room with fireplace. Of course, free Wi-Fi is available inside, allowing you to share all your experiences. Outside, you can relax on the large terrace and garden with a dreamlike view.
In the morning, after a good night's sleep, a hearty and lovingly prepared breakfast awaits you (included in the price). In addition, we will also be happy to provide you with a packed lunch or picnic basket (on request). In the evening, La Caminada Vielha serves a mix of traditional local dishes and cuisine without borders. The menu, based on local and seasonal ingredients, is fixed and only available on reservation. It consists of a starter, main course and dessert (drinks not included).
In terms of activities the options are simply unlimited, regardless of the season. Move through the mountains on one of the many trails including the "Chemin des Bonshommes" and the "Route des Cols", both of which run along our front door. Hikers, cyclists, horseback riders and winter sports enthusiasts will certainly find something to do here. For the little ones, a donkey ride is a real must. You can also simply relax and enjoy the beauty of nature or let your imagination run wild by exploring the local heritage. The area really does offer plenty of choice!

La chambre principale, à thème forestière, comprend un beau lit confortable de 160 cm, tandis que la chambre adjacente avec 2 lits de 90 cm est idéal pour les enfants.
Les deux chambres partagent l’usage d’une sanitaire privée attenante qui dispose d’une douche et deux vasques. Les toilettes soient séparées et se trouvent au niveau des escaliers.
