"Wonderful Chambre D'Hote"
We had a really excellent holiday at L'Escarpée Belle in June. Françoise and Alan are warm and welcoming hosts who give you lots of ideas on where to go in and around Sète and for whom nothing is too much trouble. Our room had a lovely view from the very large balcony and was much nicer than the pictures on the website. Breakfast was excellent and was served on the terrace overlooking the garden. And the swimming pool is probably the best we have seen after numerable stays in France. I highly recommend staying here.

"Impécable"
If you're looking for a welcoming B&B, you've found it. The owners are friendly. Ignore the negative comments that were unfounded. We weren't disappointed by the condition of the room and the bathrooms. I won't even mention breakfast; nothing was missing, and yet we've been staying in B&Bs for a few years. This one deserves 10 out of 10 and even 20 out of 20.

We had booked the panoramic room for 7 nights at the beginning of June 2024 but we left after the first night due to uncleanliness.
Upon our arrival in the evening, we noticed that the wardrobe door was covered in greasy marks, the (white) entrance door to the bedroom was very dirty all around the handle as well as on the entire jamb. Regarding the French window opening onto the bedroom terrace, it must have been cleaned but months or years ago. The entire bottom of this door was more gray than white and the rail below it was covered in grime that was blacker than black. The light green carpet in front of this French window had many marks and stains on it.

"Excellent séjour chez Françoise"
We spent 3 nights in the panoramic room with a breathtaking view of the Thau lagoon and the city of Sète! Françoise and her husband are very helpful and offer good advice! Thanks to them, we had a lovely walk and enjoyed an excellent Tielle. The breakfasts are very generous, with homemade sweets and dairy products.
The more than appreciable swimming pool, accessible all day long, is a real plus.

"chambre d'hôtes très agréable et idéalement située"
The house, with its swimming pool, is ideally located for a stopover in the town of Sète, which is well worth the detour. Françoise and Alain provided a very warm welcome, the room was very well appointed, and the breakfast was delicious and very generous. We will likely return! Parking is available, and the town center is within walking distance.

Very beautiful and large room with a terrace enjoying a magnificent view that will take your breath away. We discovered the region as well as enjoying the local restaurants on the very good advice of Françoise and Alain. We tried 3 restaurants in Sete: excellent! The breakfast is very generous and personalized (seed bread made just for us), served with a view of the Thau basin: a postcard landscape! We were also able to enjoy the table d'hôte where together, we remade the world... Françoise is a very good cook.
Lots of kindness and friendliness in this guesthouse: it feels so good.

Je recommande fortement. Chambre mieux que sur les photos. Super accueil de Françoise et Alain ils sont aux petits soins.
Petit déjeuner est super copieux et très bon.
Une vue a coupé le souffle vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, très bon rapport qualité prix.

Un accueil chaleureux dans un lieu fort agréable, une vue magnifique qui surplomb le lac, la chambre est spacieuse et bien équipée. Le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux, on reviendra avec plaisir. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

super séjour. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. Sa terrasse privative est superbe avec sa vue imprenable sur l'étang de Thau. Les hôtes sont très agréables et font tout pour être à notre service. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très bon. Nous avons passés fin juillet un bon séjour. Je recommande cet endroit.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La chambre ainsi que la maison avec sa splendide vue sont superbes. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent et très copieux. Les hôtes, Françoise et Alain sont très accueillants et très sympathiques. La piscine est un vrai plus.
Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit et nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir!
