Backing onto a pretty square, this Grade II listed house within a Victorian terrace has been lovingly restored to retain the ambiance of a private home with elegant rooms.

Holmwood House features a comfortable sitting room with an open fire. Breakfast is their speciality, with a wide selection including Craster kippers. Special diets can be catered for with prior arrangement.

Holmwood House is west of the city walls, which are just a short walk away. The wonderful York Minster and The Shambles, as well as the Jorvik Viking Centre, the Railway Museum and many other attractions are within easy walking distance. York Racecourse is 2 minutes' drive away.

It is also conveniently located for the railway station, for easy access to the Yorkshire countryside, Scarborough and Whitby, as well as the beaches at Filey and Robin Hood's Bay, and the uplands of the Wolds, the Moors and the Dales.

Pets are not allowed in the establishment.
Children of all ages are welcome.
Children up to 5 years old (inclusive) stay for 20 € per person per night when sleeping in an existing bed.
Persons 6 and over stay for 30 € per person per night when sleeping in an existing bed.
Children up to 1 years old (inclusive) stay free when sleeping in an available crib.
Extra beds or baby cots are only available upon request and need to be confirmed by the property.
Supplements are not automatically calculated in the total amount of the reservation on the site and must be paid separately directly with the establishment.

We have a car park to the rear of the property. Parking spaces are limited, and we ask you to reserve a space prior to arrival. The current rate for parking is £10 per day.

Late arrivals by key code entry are accepted by prior arrangement only.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
