Gasthof Abfalter

The Abfalter is set in green surroundings near the Golling Waterfalls, and is within 3 km of the train station. The free ski bus stops 3 minutes’ walk from the house, and takes 25 minutes to reach the ski resorts Abtenau and Dachstein West.

Each guest room at the Abfalter Gasthof have a unique open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The interior is characterized by beechwood furniture and hardwood floors. Some rooms also have their own private balcony.

The property includes a beer garden and a Falstaff award-winning à la carte restaurant specializing in game dishes. Guests can relax on the outdoor terrace.

It is possible to rent bicycles directly at the Abfalter. Popular summertime attractions include the Bluntautal Nature Reserve, which can be reached via a scenic hiking trail in 20 minutes. The Aqua Salza Thermal Baths, offering saunas, a steam bath and swimming pools, are within 3 km.

Salzburg can be reached by train in 20 minutes, and Hallein, the Hohenwerfen Castle and the Hohenwerfen ice caves are all within 15 km. Lake Fuschl is a 30-minute drive from the property.
