Elen's Castle Hotel

A former 18th century coaching inn, originally part of the Earl of Ancaster's Welsh estate, this comfortable, family run hotel is full of historic character.

Resting in the centre of the Dolwyddelan, the hotel offers a unique place to relax at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.

Retaining its original character and many fittings, Elen’s Castle Hotel has en suite guestrooms to suit all tastes, including a four-poster room overlooking the Lledr Valley and River, a family suite and accommodation to suit walking groups. There is also a bunkhouse for the traveler on a budget. Dine in the intimate restaurant and enjoy a drink by the wood burning stove in the cosy historic bar.

This hotel has a Tesla charger and a type 2 Electric Car charger. It has a Green Tourism award recognising its minimal impact on the Snowdonia National Park, and an award for promoting local produce, as it serves Welsh gin, vodka and craft ale.

Pets are not allowed in the establishment.
Children of all ages are welcome.
Children up to 2 years old (inclusive) stay for 6.5 € per person and for the stay if they sleep in an available cot.
Extra beds or baby cots are only available upon request and need to be confirmed by the property.
Supplements are not automatically calculated in the total amount of the reservation on the site and must be paid separately directly with the establishment.
