3 hours from Paris, 20 minutes from the A20, in Indre, the DOMAINE du RIS DE FEU is a RARE place nestled in the heart of the Brenne Regional Nature Park, ideal for a week or a nature weekend for lovers.
Its historic 15th century mansion, its tower and its outbuildings are nestled in the heart of a hilly forest with its private paths, its flora and fauna, its deer slab.
In this calm and secret landscape, hide 1 spacious suite, 4 charming guest rooms and 2 beautiful charming cottages (with INDEPENDENT entrances from the owners) with their private lounge by the fireplace.
A music room with a baby grand piano awaits you.
You have 2 restaurants:
- a restaurant 4 minutes away (Menu at 29€) the restaurant La Luzeraise
- another 5 mins away (Menu at €26) the Léon restaurant in Prissac is run by a young chef in a beautiful setting.
The organic renovation, with wood-fired central heating, is respectful of heritage. Noble materials, oak, chestnut and antique furniture have been given pride of place, creating a sober and warm atmosphere.
In complete privacy, your steps will take you along the 20 km of hiking trails crossing the Ris stream, its lake and its boat with pontoon, its pond, its orchard, its springs, its Gallo-Roman bridge.
The Estate adjoins one of the 5 exceptional botanical trails of the Parc de la Brenne, a paradise for birds and ornithologists.
Located in Chalais (36370), near Le Blanc, in the heart of the triangle going from Poitiers, to Châteauroux and Limoges, the Ris de Feu is strategic for visiting the Brenne and its 1000 ponds, the Chérine reserve and its nature center , the beautiful villages of Angles sur Anglin or Saint-Benoît du Sault, the abbey of Saint-Savin (UNESCO), the abbey church of Neuvy Saint-Sépulcre (UNESCO), as well as the house of Georges Sand in Nohant le Vic.

La suite de charme "La Claise" avec ses fenêtres rondes est un ancien fruitier :
- au rez-de-chaussée : SALON privé (1 canapé 2 places, 1 large fauteuil, table basse, bonne wifi, buffet avec vaisselle, scrabble, rummikub, échecs, 1 table et 5 chaises autour d'un poêle en plus du chauffage central + kitchenette (évier, micro-ondes, plancha l'été commune, bouilloire, cafetière et café, réfrigérateur-congélateur, grille pain, couverts et vaisselle, essoreuse à salade)
- au 1er étage, la chambre (1 lit 160x200 grand confort, 2 chevalets, armoire, coffre),
- possibilité de réserver toujours privatisé en toute intimité (en option) une ou plusieurs séances de Spa et/ou de SAUNA (1h00 pour 2 pers en toute intimité : 39 €)

Enter the destination Le Ris de Feu (and NOT Chalais) on your GPS.
Leave the A 20 at exit 18 and take the direcction of Prissac / Luzeret.
Go through Luzeret and continue as far as Prissac.
In Prissac, follow signposts to Belâbre; however, about 6.5 Kilometres from Prissac you will come across the “Luzeraise” restaurant on your right, then a small hamlet called “La Petite Luzeraise”.
About another 200 to 300 metres on the right hand side of the road you will see milsestone number 32 on the D 10 road; the road to our house is directly opposite this. “Le Ris de Feu” is marked on a signpost.
The road is suitable for motor vehicles and the buildings of our domain are a further 400 metres further into the woods and cannot be seen from the road.
Have a good trip.

"Un très bel endroit"
Un accueil tout en simplicité, mais avec un grand professionnalisme de la part de Caroline. Enormément d'informations très utiles à votre disposition (restaurants, commerces, cartes & parcours, livres faune & flore,...). Superbe domaine avec piscine très agréable. Gîte confortable et propre avec un cachet local très séduisant.

"Week-end anniversaire"
Un lieu magique ! Parfait pour se déconnecter. Un calme qui n a pas de prix et un cadre superbe. L accueil et l écoute de caroline participent aussi à ce climat de détente et sérénité.

LE RIS DE FEU EST PROPICE AU CALME, AUX SEJOURS NATURE ET BIEN-ETRE, AUX BALADES SUR PLACE ET DANS OU AUTOUR DU PARC DE LA BRENNE
Avec son COIN SALON privé (2 larges fauteuils, table basse, blutoir) autour d'une cheminée équipée d'un poêle en plus du chauffage central bois, la chambre de charme "La Sonne" (avec lit très confortable 160x200, tête de lit en bois, 2 chevalets et armoire-penderie) est un véritable nid pour les amoureux.
Elle bénéficie d'une DOUBLE ORIENTATION. Côté cour du manoir, elle est de plein pied. Côté terrasse avec vue sur l'étang, la forêt et le ruisseau, elle a quelques marches pour accéder aux transats et la table en teck.
Possibilité de réserver toujours privatisé en toute intimité (en option) une ou plusieurs séances de SPA et/ou de SAUNA (1h00 pour 2 pers en toute intimité : 39€).
COPIEUX PETIT DÉJEUNER sucré servi dans la salle des fours à pain du XVIème EN TÊTE À TÊTE aux chandelles entre 9h00 et 9h30.
