We were 2 couples and spent 5 nights at Clos Fleuri. Dominique and Marie were exceptionally welcoming hosts, and Dominique even picked us up from the train station! The couple served the most delicious and varied breakfasts we had during our entire trip touring France. Dominique is a fabulous cook and baker, each morning preparing a different pastry or cake for us to try.
Clos Fleuri is a lovely house, lovingly renovated by Dominique who inherited the residence from his parents. The rooms are exquisitely appointed with lovely antiques and comfortable beds. We occupied 2 large, beautiful upstairs rooms overlooking the garden and the town. The house is on a quiet street not far from the train station but is just a short walk to the center of town, the Cathedral, the Bayeux Tapestry Museum, and the British Cemetery and WWII museum. We loved our stay at Clos Fleuri!
