Just 1h30 from Paris, between Orleans and Blois, near a motorway exit, the Château de Guignes is an ideal stopover for visiting this beautiful region of the Loire Valley or stop in a haven of peace.
The 18th century castle is built on a hillside; the rooms, spacious and comfortable, offer a breathtaking view of the park of more than 2 ha and the valley up to the Loire. A large terrace, inspired by Italian renaissance, dominates the park with forty different species.
Water is omnipresent: wells, springs and especially the small river that crosses the park (Lien) will make you dream. In season, you can also admire the water jets and the wall of water, reproduction of the wall of the Hundred Fountains of Villa d'Este (Italy). Attention, these different water points can not be secured for children.
