A welcoming and comfortable mansion tastefully renovated keeping the French style mixed with a touch of modernity. The house is located on 4 hectares in the French countryside north of Bordeaux, surrounded by Cognac vines and sunflowers.

We have three large, airy renovated bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, one with a claw-foot tub. There is plenty of space inside and outside where you can have your breakfast or just relax; with a large swimming pool (May to August) also available.

A beautiful quiet getaway offering a beautiful French experience. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious with king size beds and good mattresses for a good sleep, one is a twin bedroom. There is plenty of space to sit and relax inside or outside, with a large comfortable (and cool in summer) living room. In the kitchen, where you can help yourself to coffee or tea, there is a large dining table where you can sit, perhaps with others, or have a table for yourself outside.

You will need a car to get around the area and reach the house. The quieter roads give you easy access to ports, beaches, neighboring towns, including pretty coastal villages and large ports of Royan and La Rochelle, as well as vineyards and Cognac. Numerous car parks with easy access to the house.

We are happy to welcome families and to provide cots and high chairs at no additional cost. Some rooms will take an extra bed for a child, for which we add a small cost, please ask if you would like an extra bed when booking.

There is a large, modern and sociable kitchen which has patio doors leading out to the terrace if you fancy alfresco dining. We can provide home cooked evening meals prepared by our chef on site when booked in advance. If several of you are booking together, we will be happy to organize a barbecue or a delicious meal by prior arrangement.

We have a large 10m x 5m swimming pool, which is surrounded by grass which you are welcome to use. The swimming pool is not heated and is generally available from May to August.

There is a farm adjacent to the land and from time to time farmyard sounds can be heard.
