Hiking trails Bicycle hire10 minutes walk from the center of Rochechouart, a town of character built on the edge of the crater of the only enormous meteorite in France, the Champ des Oiseaux is a beautiful architect-designed house surrounded by a large park with trees and flowers, in the center of 3 Ha of meadows.
Upstairs, the 2 bedrooms and the family suite all have a private bathroom with a shower, towels and a hairdryer. Wi-Fi and travel cot are available free of charge.
French breakfasts are served in the large dining room, the veranda, or on the terrace, depending on the weather. You will appreciate the homemade jams from the many fruits of the orchard served with fresh bread and pastries, as well as yogurts, fruit juices and hot drinks on request.

Absolutely worth visiting: The Meteorite Museum, a large rock weighing 6 billion tonnes, which fell 200 million years ago 4 km from the town, the departmental Museum of Contemporary Art located inside the Castle, the Gallo-Roman thermal baths of Chassenon (Cassinomagus) the largest in France, the Memory Center of Oradour sur Glane, martyr village.

"ETAPE AGREABLE"
C'est avec plaisir que nous nous arrêtons dans cette chambre. L'accueil des propriétaires, la propreté de la chambre , le calme avec la vue de la campagne environnante en font une étape parfaite pour la decouverte du Limousin.

"Fantastique"
Une belle maison, dans un endroit calme, à quelques kms d'Oradour-sur-Glane. La chambre était propre et spacieuse. Et le petit déjeuner spectaculaire : fait maison (confitures) et varié. Les hotes trés sympas. Bon accueil. Nous reviendrons certainement.

"Une belle rencontre"
Accueil chaleureux, très jolie demeure assortie d'un jardin magnifique, chambre grand confort impeccable,petit déjeuner très varié et de qualité. Nous remercions Mr et Mme Desbordes pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. Sans hésiter nous recommandons cette adresse et nous y retournerons.
